To implement a temporary increase in Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLA) during periods of high inflation. | LAPP Corporation received an application from Mr. B Edwards regarding LAPP’s COLA. The proposal is that COLA would be 60% of the increase in the Alberta CPI or, in periods of high inflation, Alberta CPI minus 1.5%. As an example, if the increase in the Alberta CPI is 8%, the existing 60% COLA results in an increase of 4.8%. Under the proposal, adjustment would be 6.5% (8% minus 1.5%). | Will be presented to the Sponsor Board at the next meeting for consideration. |
This list includes those plan rule amendments the Board has agreed to consider in the year. These changes will be considered by the Board at its third quarter meeting.
