  • facing a decision related to your LAPP pension (transfer, purchase, termination), or
  • need help understanding your options,

we are here to help!

You can book a one-on-one session to discuss your LAPP pension in person with a pension specialist, or even have a pension document signed by a Commissioner for Oaths.

30-minute one-on-one sessions are available by appointment year-round at our Edmonton office in Windermere.

Please note that we are not able to offer any financial planning, financial advice or information related to Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security or your company benefits.

To schedule a session, call us at 1-877-649-5277.

To prepare for your session:

  • Review and update your personal, pension partner and beneficiary information by phone or in mypensionplan prior to your session and before running your pension estimate.
  • Print a pension estimate that is no more than six months old. You can do this in mypensionplan using the “Pension Projection Calculator” (see below).
  • Bring government photo identification (a driver’s license, passport or Alberta ID card are ideal for this).

To get your pension estimate:

To get a pension estimate, you can log into mypensionplan, click on “Pension” in the menu bar, and select the “Pension Projection Calculator” option. After you run your pension estimate, click on “Print Statement” in the top right corner. You will need to bring a printed copy of your estimate to your session.

If you are unable to access mypensionplan or run a pension estimate online, call us at 1-877-649-5277 and allow 4-5 weeks for mailing.

We travel to communities across the province to provide 30-minute one-on-one sessions in locations more convenient to some of our members. These schedules are typically announced in February and August. If you are interested in a session, book right away, because they can fill up quickly!

All fall session dates are now full. Check back in February for the announcement of the spring off-site session dates.
