Stewardship

The responsibility of providing retirement security for our members is not one we take lightly. Your interests are always considered because the Boards making decisions on your behalf are equally made up of member and employer representatives.

In performing their duties, the members of both Boards are bound to codes of conduct stating they will demonstrate a high level of integrity, act honestly, consider all relevant factors before making decisions, be a positive ambassador for the Plan to stakeholders, and show a commitment to ongoing learning in their roles.

Both Boards are made up of 12 representatives. On each Board, half of the representatives are appointed by the unions and associations representing employees (LAPP members) and half are appointed by LAPP employers.
