Pension Estimators

Pension Estimator (Using new plan rules - 2016)
This estimator is designed to give current LAPP members a rough estimate of what their pension payments might be under the new plan rules.

It uses the existing plan rules to estimate benefits up to December 31, 2015, and the new plan rules are used to estimate benefits from 2016 onwards.

The information you obtain from this estimator is not a calculation of your actual future pension payments, which can only be accurately calculated when you retire. Your actual pension payments could turn out to be quite different from the estimate provided here.

Pension Estimator (Using existing plan rules)
This estimator is designed to give current LAPP members a rough estimate of what their pension payments may have been if the plan rules weren't changing in 2016.

The new plan rules haven't been configured into this estimator. Therefore, you should get an estimate based on the new rules if you want to see how your pension payments might be affected after 2015. (You can use the estimator above to do this.)

The information you obtain from this estimator is not a calculation of your actual future pension payments, which can only be accurately calculated when you retire. Your actual pension payments could turn out to be quite different from the estimate provided here.

Buying Back Service Estimator
If you had employment before your current job, you can have that service added to your LAPP service. The estimator will give you an idea of what that might cost.

Coordination Estimator
One of your retirement options includes something called coordination. It means you can receive a higher monthly pension income up to the age of 65. After age 65, your monthly pension income is reduced, in some cases, significantly. Read the information on Coordination in your Pension Options Package carefully.
