Workshops
Employers play an important role in the administration of the pension plan. Employer workshops focus on timely information to help employers become more knowledgeable about the Plan and their administrative role.
The Plan's administrator,
- Compliance; and
- Optional Service.
Workshops are held throughout the year and are designed to increase awareness of employers' responsibilities in relation to pension legislation. The workshops are designed to provide a basic understanding of an employer's administrative responsibilities and would be of interest to anyone administering the Plan and submitting data to LAPP's administrator, Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS). The workshops run from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
How to Register For Workshops
Registration for workshops is available online through Employer Online Services (EOS).
If you do not have access to EOS and would like to register for a workshop, please send an e-mail to employereducation@apsc.ca with:
- Your name;
- Contact information; and
- Your selected session date/location.
